My idea to develop an online store was born out of the realisation that for most of us - life is so busy that we rarely have time to shop around for those unique items we love to dress our home with.

Bluebird and lilac aim to bring you unique, carefully selected vintage style ,glamorous gifts and home ware which are not easily stumbled across and would not look out-of-place in a french farmhouse - or on the dressing table of a 1940's movie star !

I want to bring items into your home that are different and alternative with the "ooohh" factor ,and not easily sourced on the high street with a definite Frou Frou and brocante feel.
